Bio: Lesley Ann Beck is the managing editor of BBQ: Berkshire Business Quarterly, the quarterly business lifestyle magazine, and senior editor of Berkshire Living. She regularly contributes stories on home design, culture, and the arts, as well as profiles of notable individuals in the business community. Before joining Berkshire Living and BBQ in October 2007, she edited the Berkshires Week supplement to the Berkshire Eagle for nine years. Prior to her tenure at the Eagle, Beck was graphics editor at the Daily Record in Parsippany, N.J. Beck began her career in publications at New Orleans CityBusiness in New Orleans, La. A journalist for more than 20 years, Beck has been recognized with a first place award from the New England Associated Press News Executives Association. She also has won awards from the New Jersey Press Association and the New Orleans Press Association. Beck holds a bachelor of fine arts degree from Carnegie-Mellon University in Pittsburgh, Pa. She lives in Pittsfield, Mass., with her husband, their Labrador retriever and three cats.
