Bio

A lifelong native of Pittsfield, Mass., senior editor Amanda Rae Busch joined Berkshire Living in December 2004 as editorial assistant--just in time for the launch of its premiere issue. In addition to writing feature and departmental articles on food, wellness, lifestyle, culture, and personalities, Amanda puts her degree in magazine journalism from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University to further good use, as she plans the Scene Around section of Berkshire buzz; curates The Right Stuff shopping column; frequently writes Meal Ticket restaurant spotlights; edits the Dress Code fashion column; and combs through every word in each issue of Berkshire Living.

In summer 2011, she plans to drive across America and blog about it at AmandaRaeWasHere.com
