A Polar Bear ... on Main Street?

Blink and you might miss him: a life-size polar bear made of angular wooden panels, standing guard before the Stockbridge Library on Main Street in the Rockwellian town.
I almost did--and he's been there for months!
Polar Bear, by Richard Rothschild of Sharon, Conn., is just one of the eighteen large-scale sculptures by East Coast artists dotting various lawns in downtown Stockbridge, Mass., as part of SculptureNow, a nonprofit public art initiative that beautifies a different Berkshire community each year.
Find 'em all (free maps are available in the Bluebird Visitors Booth on Main Street) before their extinction on October 31.
